Using the StoAmigo Website

Step 1: Click on the ‘Contacts’ tab.

Step 2: Click on the name of a contact to see what they have shared with you. A number next to the contact’s name indicates the number of new items shared with you.

Step 3: You will see two sections of tabs, one section is marked ‘shared by (contact name)’ and one section is marked ‘shared by you’; each section is broken into tabs marked ‘cloud’ and ‘tacked’. When you click on a contacts’ name you will automatically see what they have shared with you from the cloud portion of their account. You can also view what that contact has shared with you from the tacked portion of their account by clicking on the ‘tacked’ tab.

Step 4: When you are viewing what your contact has shared with you, you also have the option of adding the shared content to a list by clicking on the ‘Add to list’ icon ( ) and clicking on the action icon ( Action-icon ) will allow you to download a file to your storage (e.g. Online Storage or CloudLocker) or onto your device. You will also be able to view/play files that have the converted file icon ( ) in front of it.

Using the Mobile App (iOS)

Step 1: From the dashboard touch the ‘Contacts’ button.

Step 2: From the ‘Contacts’ screen touch the name of a contact to see what they have shared with you. A number next to the contact’s name indicates the number of new items shared with you.

Step 3: At the top you will see two sets of buttons, the first set allows you to select ‘Shares’ (files shared from the cloud portion of an account) or ‘Tacked’ (files shared from the tacked portion of an account), the second set of buttons allow you to choose ‘to me’ (files shared to you from a contact) or ‘by me’ (files you shared with a contact).

When you click on a contacts’ name you will automatically see what they have shared with you from the cloud portion of their account. You can also view what that contact has shared with you from the tacked portion of their account by clicking on the ‘Tacked’ button.

Step 4: When you are viewing this screen, you also have the option of clicking on the action icon ( Action-icon ) to reveal a menu that will allow you to perform further actions with the file/folder/list that was shared to you. You will be able to play/view a file, put it on device, add it to a list, download it to your storage (e.g. Online Storage or CloudLocker), and view the message (if available). NOTE: The action icon only appears in detailed view. If you are in thumbnail view you need to long-touch on the file/folder/list.
