The list is a tagging system that is a great way of compiling files from different locations throughout your StoAmigo account without having to copy/move them from their original location.

Using the StoAmigo Website

Create a List:

Step 1: Click on the ‘Create new list’ icon ( Create-new-list-icon ) located under the ‘Storage’ tab.

Step 2: From the ‘New List’ popup window, enter the name of your new list and click the ‘Save’ button.

The new list will now be added in your Lists section.

Add a File/Folder to a List:

NOTE: The following example shows how to add a single file/folder to a list. You can add multiple files/folder to a list by using the “More” menu.

Step 1: Every File and Folder in StoAmigo has an ‘Add to List’ icon ( Add-to-list-icon ). Click on the icon.

Step 2: From the Add to List’ popup window, click the name of the list(s) you would like to add the file or folder to and then click the ‘Close’ button. NOTE: In this step you can also create a new list in the space marked ‘Create new lists, separated by comma.’ and then click the plus sign (+) next to that space.

The file/folder will now be added to the selected list and the list icon for the file/folder will now turn blue ( Add-to-list-icon  ) to indicate that it is on a list.

NOTE: When you add a folder to a list, only the files within the folder are put into the list. Any changes made to the folder (adding, deleting, etc.) will be reflected in the list.

 

Using the Mobile App (iOS)

Create a List:

Step 1: From the main mobile menu touch the ‘Lists’ option.

Step 2: From the Lists window, touch the ‘Add’ icon ( Add-icon ).

Step 3: From the ‘New List’ popup, enter the name of your new list and touch the ‘Create’ button.

The new list will now be added in your Lists section.

Add a File/Folder to a List:

Step 1: Touch the action icon ( Action-icon ) of the file/folder you would like to add to a list to reveal the file menu. NOTE: The action icon only appears in detailed view. If you are in thumbnail view you need to long-touch on the name of the file/folder to reveal the file menu.

Step 2: From the ‘Menu’ touch the ‘Add to List’ button.

Step 3: From the ‘Add to List’ window, touch the list(s) you would like to add the file/folder into, then click the ‘Ok’ button. NOTE: In this step you can also create a new list by touching the ‘Create New Lists’ option.

The file/folder will now be added to the selected list. If you go back to the file menu for the file you added to the list you will see the ‘Add to List’ icon is now blue (Add-to-list-icon ).

NOTE: When you add a folder to a list, only the files within the folder are put into the list. Any changes made to the folder (adding, deleting, etc.) will be reflected in the list.

 

Using the Mobile App (Android)
